I enjoyed the way we were shown films and told to observe them, their lighting, their effects, to take inspiration and try what we like. We were shown things that we are not traditionally used to

 

I loved the environment and just getting to be creative. I was able to explore however I pleased and wasn't just sitting down doing nothing!

 

I like how much free time we had. Also how much animation we did in the times of class

 

I loved it and I'm no longer afraid of animation.

 

It was a great life experience.

The teacher was very helpful towards me and the people in my group and I learned a lot of useful information about character design and animation :)

 

I really enjoyed advancing my skills. It was very fun to work together on some projects

 

I'm glad I took this class :)

The thing I enjoy about this class is the fact that I found myself so into animating that the class flew by. Just the fact that I got so into it that hours fled by like seconds is amazing

 

I have always wanted to be an animator and now I can be.

 

I loved how interactive, and helpful everyone was. The fact that I wasn’t expecting to learn so much was also amazing.

 

I really liked everything about this class. I liked that we were taught all the different types of animations that I never thought I would ever try. This class helped me see new ways to enjoy animation

I learned that filmmaking is really fun and there are different things you can do. I learned about different types of film and saw that the animation class had a great time too!

 

 

ACTING FOR STAGE AND CAMERA - NORTH PLATTE, NE

I think it really pushed me and those around me, it was cool to see how much I could grow in a week.

 

It was fun getting to learn more about theatre and film all together. I loved getting to work with Joz and would love to work with him again.

 

I loved the overall vibe of the class. Jozben as a teacher has really helped me improve my acting in general.

 

I loved it, I loved having help one on one but also as a group. And I really liked how Jozben was very welcoming from the start and made sure that everyone was interacting.

CREATIVE WRITING FOR TEENS - NORTH PLATTE, NE

What are some things we should make sure to keep doing?

The social aspect is great, definitely keep getting kids out and communicating with each other.

 

The teacher was great, enjoyed the writing and hearing the other students' stories as well. Had a great time building characters.

I like how the atmosphere feels. (Definitely passed the vibe check) I also like how the animation was left to us without teachers interfering with our work.
